The scream mask design was inspired by a combination of sources. While it's commonly associated with the 1996 horror film "Scream," its iconic appearance actually draws from the famous artwork "The Scream" by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, as well as the painting "The Ghostface" by abstract expressionist artist Edvard Munch. This fusion of art and popular culture gives the mask a unique and recognizable aesthetic.
